Your screen never touches our servers

Video, clicks, scrolls, text you type and shortcuts travel directly between your Mac and your phone, end-to-end encrypted. When a direct connection is impossible, traffic may be relayed as ciphertext (for example via public DERP relays) — the relay cannot read it, and neither can we. MainVac has no access to your screen content, window titles, keystrokes or clipboard.

No account, no telemetry

MainVac has no account system, no analytics and no tracking SDKs. The app sends nothing in the background except the licensing requests described below. Feedback email is composed in your own mail app on your device — nothing leaves it before you press send, and what you see in the draft is everything that is sent.

What the licensing service receives

• A pseudonymous device identifier: a one-way hash derived from a hardware identifier. We cannot reverse it into your machine's identity, and it never includes your computer's name.
• Your license key, when you activate or the app renews its credential (about once a day).
• Your purchase email is received from the payment provider and stored only as a one-way hash, used to verify you on the license management page. We do not store the address itself.
• The service runs on Cloudflare, which sees connecting IP addresses to operate the network; we do not write IP addresses to our database or logs.

Payments

Purchases are processed by Dodo Payments as merchant of record. Your card details go to Dodo, never to us. Dodo's own privacy policy governs the data it collects for payment, tax and fraud-prevention purposes.

Software updates

The Mac app checks a static update feed (appcast) to find new versions, subject to the preference you choose on first launch. Update checks request a file from our download host and include no identifier beyond what any HTTP request carries.
